The Purple Potion

As he stood there, eyes full of hope, he drank the purple potion. I watched in hope to see if he would grow wings and fly. His round pink body was still the same. It took about a minute but pink bat wings emerged from the adorable animal.

“Max! Get out here. You need to see something!” I said as I kicked the glass bottle behind a square bush.

“What! How? How did you get shrimp to fly? I didn’t realise they could fly!” Questioned Max, hands over his head.

“He’s a pig. That’s how.” I replied with a  smirk.

  1. Hi Amelia,
This was a very interesting response to the prompt this week, and one that I enjoyed very much! In particular, I noticed how you made good use of descriptive details throughout your story. These not only show your skill in writing, but also allow the reader to form a much more clear and vivid image in their head.

Well done and keep up the good work,
    Anna (Team 100WC)
